You’re receiving this communication because you’re an Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) Recreational Marijuana Program licensee or have an interest in Oregon’s cannabis industry.
The OLCC will launch its new licensing system on March 18, 2024. The Cannabis and Alcohol Management Program, or “CAMP” for short, will be a big improvement on the licensing system OLCC has been utilizing since it first started licensing the cannabis industry back in April 2016.
Currently the marijuana licensing program has an online portal, but has relied more on paper, rather than digital documentation. As the name implies, CAMP will also include alcohol licensing, which has been a paper-based system since OLCC’s inception after the repeal of Prohibition.
For more than a year the OLCC and Computronix (the vendor building CAMP) have engaged in a collaborative process with representatives from the alcohol, cannabis and hospitality industries to design CAMP and to ensure that it’s an easy-to-use tool for OLCC licensees.
Phase One of CAMP will focus only on licensees in the Recreational Marijuana Program, and it launches March 18.
So what’s in CAMP for OLCC marijuana licensees?
Here are just a few of the benefits:
- It’s all digital – no paper.
- Online payment options for license fees, permit fees, and fines.
- Credit cards, debit cards, and ACH electronic funds transfer accepted.
- (Cash payments can still be scheduled with OLCC’s Financial Services team)
In the coming weeks OLCC will:
-
Provide licensees with specific information about how to make the transition to CAMP
-
Publish user guides to help navigate the CAMP system
-
Share details about a live webinar (it will also be available for on-demand viewing) before CAMP’s official launch
We’ll be sending you updates leading up to the launch, but in the meantime be sure to bookmark the CAMP page for quick reference.
