For those looking to stay up to date in the dynamic areas of cannabis and hemp law, learn more about the failures of cannabis legalization, or hear about the emerging world of psilocybin and psychedelics law, the OSB Cannabis and Psychedelics Law Section’s Fifth Annual Northwest Cannabis Law Conference will be full of comprehensive presentations and updates covering a broad array of topics.

Friday’s program will include a federal and state hemp update; an update on the Oregon’s Psilocybin Services Act; a review of secured transactions, how best to draft for them, and what happens when a licensed business defaults; and a discussion of psilocybin land use issues.

Saturday’s program will include a legislative update exploring the 2023 Oregon legislative session, a discussion of the failures of legalization, and an analysis of rescheduling of marijuana.

Cancellation

Cancellations: Cancellation requests for in-person registrations must be received by the OSB CLE Service Center no later than September 15. Refunds are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations of in-person registrations made after September 15. Cancellation requests for virtual registrations must be received by the OSB CLE Service Center no later than September 27. No refunds for cancellations of virtual registrations made after September 27. Refunds are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. In-person and virtual registrations may be transferred.
